This is a fabulous Peter Bettley London vintage 1980's wide brimmed hat in cream with a wide pink satin bow and ribbon on the crown. The perimeter of the brim has the same shade of pink in a grosgrain ribbon. We love the way the brim is wider in the front and shorter in the back! 

Bettley started out as an engineer but after meeting the famous milliner Otto Lucas, he was so inspired that he made a huge career shift to hat making!  After starting out as a trainee,  he worked in several positions for a variety of hat companies before he decided to launch his own brand in the 1970's. His hats have been worn by celebrities and Royals and have been sold in luxury stores like Harrods.
