DATE: Georgian, c.1800

A beautiful antique pansy brooch dating from the late Georgian era, circa 1800. It's set with five paste gemstone "petals", two ultra-pale violet in colour, and three citrine/yellow. The flower head is embellished by texture gold "leaves" and sits atop an "s" shaped stem. Crafted in 15 karat gold throughout.
